Nick : Cheap flight ticket to Osaka and Seoul from Australia. (7)

Few days ago, I found that Jetstar which is Australian low cost airline offers cheap flight ticket from Australia to Tokyo or Osaka.

I bought a one-way ticket from Sydney-Cairns-Osaka and it cast only $250! Amazing!
Actually I paid another 60-70 dollars for luggage, meal and blanket, it is still cheap.

And I bought a ticket from Osaka-Incheon and it was 9,800 yen including luggage and everything!
PEACH, new Japanese low cost airline, offers special price for its first flight between Korea and Japan.
If you are Korean or Japanese and would like to go, you should check it!
It was cheaper than Jeju airline.

Anyway I am going to Osaka tomorrow~~~ it is my second time!
I have been to Kyoto, kobe, Himeji as well but not to Nara yet.
I'm excited for it now!

Nick : Leaving Australia, back to Korea (0)

It's been more than a year staying in Australia.
I had some plan to stay in Australia for many years but things changed and plan had to be changed.

Anyway I have worked and travel during the time and have a lot of good memories.
Good friends, good places and experiences.
I think that I spent a year without any worries or anxiety.

I feel I want to stay longer and I can but it is time to find my career job.
What I did in Australia is just common casual job. It is not really helpful for the career.
(I have graduated uni 3 years ago)

Anyway,
I feel I am going to miss all of my friends and time in Australia.
I wish I could come back some time in the future.

Nick : What does 'burger' mean? (3)

A friend of mine tried to start the engine in his car this morning.
But it didn't work. We were not sure what caused the problem.
I guessed it is because of petrol. There was only little of it in the car.

When we were considering of the problem, our neighbour came up and helped us.
He had some tools for it. He charged battery at first. Engine started then.
And checked battery's voltage and said something.
It was quite fast and I really couldn't understand it very well.

I asked him, is battery run out?

And he answered, battery's burgered

But I'm not sure if he said "battery's burgered"
burgered? bergered? or something similar.

I don't really get it what it means. Does he say battery is not good? or good enough?

I think

Nick : Mailing to fitness club because of membership fees (0)

I used to go to gym (only for 2 months ;) ) and stopped as I made a decision to finish my job.
I told staff and they said yes. I thought everything's done.
But when I check my account today, membership fees have been still charged
It cost $42 for 2 weeks and it is charged three times after I told them.

So I called fitness club. However their internet connection was poor and they asked me to send an e-mail so that they can check it later.

This is my e-mail that I'll send to them below.
I learnt how to write mail but.. forgot everything T_T

Dear staff,

I am writing this to ask you check my membership and refund my fees.

I was a member of 360 fitness club in Tamworth and my membership was supposed to be expired in February.

I asked your staff that I want to finish membership in the middle of February ( I guess 2nd week or 3rd week ). And at that time, because of bank problem, it is failed to charge fee by debit card. So, I paid about 17 dollars for a rest of week. ( That might be for the period of 14th ~ 20th and it was the last day I went to gym )

Then, for the next 2 weeks, membership fees are supposed to be charged from my two weeks deposit. But when I checked my bank account today, it is charged three times.

15/03/2012
01/03/2012
22/02/2012

It shouldn't be charged from 22/02/2012. I've never been to gym after I paid 17 dollars in Feb. You probably can check it on computer. I'm not even staying in Tamworth anymore.

Could you please check these things?

I look forward to your answer

Sincerely

Kyuyeol Yu

Do you think they could understand what I'm saying?

Nick : Traveling Australia alone (2)

Hello, guys

It's been about a year that I have been staying and working in Australia.
I think it is time to enjoy Australia and go back home.

I finished my job in meat factory and said good bye all of my friend.

I have a old Hyundai Sonata, which is 1997 year model.
It is quite old car but works fine until now ;)

I am going to travel from New South Wales to Cairns along the east coast of Australia by car.

It is 2500km way. And I'm driving alone. Sounds quite boring.

Now I'm in Gold Coast. It is great city for holiday, I think.

Today, I took surf lesson. It was group lesson but there were only three people in the lesson.
Lucky! It was like private lesson.
In addition, I could understand why people say gold coast as surfer's paradise.
It was very nice weather, sunny and warm, breeze wind but the wave was quite tough which is good for surfing.

Surfing was so COOOL!

If you have chance, you should try it. You'll like it, I'm sure.
It is like snowboarding on the sea. I've become a fan of surfing.

I'm going to walk around the city now.

Tomorrow, I'll be in Brisbane.
I think I'm going to visit most of cities on the way to Cairns.

Does anyone live in those cities?
