Does anybody know Korean word '인연'

'인연' is korean word

I want to write diary about this, but have no idea in English.
I have looked up the word in dictionary and found some words such as relation, connection, karma, act of Providence etc...

But I don't know which words are correct.

I think the word means something like "ties." As in ties between people though I may be wrong
