Ambivalence - No strong feelings
Dilemma - A problem. It may be a problem because there is no easy solution. You may have strong feelings.
Ambivalence is used to describe confusion and/or uncertainty and can be used generally.
However,
Dilemma is used more for when a PERSON is in confusion. You wouldn't use it for anything other than people.

How are they different?
Ambivalence = You have equally positive and negative feelings about something.
- I think there are good points and bad points about living in Japan.
- Money is good and evil.
- I love her and I hate her.
Dilemma = You have to make a difficult choice and whichever one you choose the result will be bad.
- Shall we kill him by hanging or electric chair?
- When your house is on fire is it better to save your wife or your child?
- There are three choices on the menu: monkey brains, boiled spiders, and live rat.
Ambivalence is all about mixed feelings.
Dilemma is all about difficult choices.
