一、 問:什麼是DEHP?

A: What is DEHP?
答: DEHP為塑膠製品常用之ㄧ種塑化劑，無色、無味的液體。因可作為食物包材、血袋、橡膠管、化粧品及玩具的原料，所以一般的塑膠製品中通常可發現少量DEHP存在。

DEHP is kind of plasticizer in which is one of the plastic products. It’s odorless colorless liquid. Because it can be used as materials for the toys,cosmetics,rubber hose,blood bags and food package materials, so it can be found small amount of DEHP in generall plastic products.



二、 什麼是起雲劑？起雲劑有什麼用途？常用在哪種食品？

答: 起雲劑是一種合法的食品添加物，幫助食品的乳化，常添加在運動飲料及果凍，但也可能能用於優酪乳粉末等食品。

三、 是否所有的起雲劑均會含有DEHP?

答: 不是的。合法的起雲劑不會使用DEHP，除非不肖業者為了降低成本及增加產品穩定性等原因，而惡意以DEHP取代合法的食品添加物。

四、 我們平常就會吃到DEHP嗎?

答: 1.是的。因為DEHP用途廣，使得各國在工業上大量製造，因而對環境造成不小的汙染，DEHP可透過飲水、食物鏈等途徑而被我們攝入體內。
2.依據各國包括英國、美國、瑞典、加拿大、日本、韓國及我國相關研究與調查結果，顯示透過飲食而攝入DEHP之情形普遍存在，國人每日自食物攝入DEHP的量約為1.029 mg。

1. Yes. Because the reason of a wild use of DEHP, so every country produce it in big quantity in the industry, and it causes a huge pollution to the enviroment. DEHP can be absorbed to our body by some ways like drinking, and key food.
2. Pursuant to the relevant research and survey results from every country including England,America,Swiden,Canada,Giappon,Korea and Taiwan it shows that the case of getting DEHP into human body through wildespread of food is exsist, taiwanes get 1.029mg of DEHP from food each day.


五、 經由飲食進入人體的DEHP會排出體外嗎?

答: 1.會。此種塑化劑如果進入人體，大部分的DEHP及其代謝物會經人體的代謝途徑如尿液及糞便排出體外。
2於猴子動物試驗之結果顯示，攝入的DEHP及其代謝物大部份會於24~48小時由尿液或糞便排出。

1. Yes. If this kind of plasticizer enters human body, most of the DEHP and Metabolites can be eliminated from body through urine and feces.
2. From the monkeys animal testing results shows, most of the metabolites and DEHP can be eliminated from urine and feces after 24-48 hours.



六、 DEHP的毒性為何?
F: What is the toxicity of DEHP?

答: 1.DEHP對動物的急性毒性低，在高劑量時會影響大鼠的生育系統與提高發生肝臟腫瘤之機率，但對人類影響為何，目前還未有科學證據證明。
2.國家癌症研究中心（IARC）將DEHP歸類為第2B類致癌物，即確認為動物致癌物，但人類資料尚不充分。
3.DEHP毒性不高，屬於環境荷爾蒙的一種，可以模擬動物體內的天然荷爾蒙，影響內分泌系統的正常運作。
Answer:
1. The acute toxicity of DEHP on animal is law, but in high doses can affect the reproductives system in rats and improve chances of liver tumors. Now we havn’t got any scientific evidence permits to the influence on human.
2. National Center for research on cancer (IARC) classified DEHP as 2nd class B carcinogens, it means that it’s carcinogens for animals but for human, the data is not yet fully.
3. Toxicity of DEHP is not high,belongs to one kind of environmental hormones.it can simulated animal natural hormones, affect the normal operation of the endocrine system.
