A workshop concerned school base management took place in the Ministry of Education in Vanuatu yesterday. I'm not a participant, but I went to the conference room during break time to drink some coffee.
Of course all attendees finish drinking and eating some refreshments, I took them. I'd like to write about people of Vanuatu's way of using spoon. They scoop coffee, sugar, milk powder, and so on with a spoon that they had already stirred their drink with. I don't like their way of using it because the powder or sugar adheres/clings to the spoon and they mix with others as well as part of hot drink adhered/clung to it.
I wanted them to stop this bad habit, so I undertook a role to scoop and stir their drinks while using two spoons, one for stirring, the other for scooping. However, some attendees used it as usual and most of them didn't understand why I separated the way of using it. I couldn't explain the reason because I didn't know the word, "adhere" or "cling." This workshop is supposed to be held today, so I have an opportunity to pursue them to use spoon separately. However, I predict that it's difficult to let them change their accustomed way of using it.

Of course all the attendees had finished drinking and eating their refreshments, so I took what was left.
I'd like to write about how people in Vanuatu use spoons.
They scoop coffee, sugar, powdered milk, and so on with the same spoon they just stirred their drink with.
I don't like this because the powder or sugar sticks to the spoon, and it gets mixed with other people's drinks.
a bit clearer to understand
However, some attendees continued to do it as usual and most of them didn't understand why I used two spoons.
I couldn't explain the reason because I didn't know the word, "adhere" or "cling." This workshop is supposed to be held again today, so I have an opportunity to encourage them to use separate spoons.
However, I predict that it will be difficult to get them to change their set ways.
That is considered very bad manners here. If someone did that here they were get lots of dirty looks from the people around them.
Sometimes Abe does that at home, and I always find clumps of coffee in the sugar. Very annoying!!
It's difficult to distinguish which word is natural and which is technical from my dictionary.
In this case: I don't like a girl who is too clingy. (no one does! lol)
