The first one third of my term in Vanuatu passed yesterday. The rest two third, in fact the rest 432 days I can stay here. I'd like to look back this term right now.
First of all, I had all Japanese volunteers who work at each school in Vanuatu reported the issues of teachers' attitude during last October. So I realized various kinds of problems and I'd like to suggest some ideas to solve them gradually. In real terms my work will almost end at the end of this year, so I hope that I would be able to recognize the achievement of our working on.
Secondly, I can continue to make a effort of studying English. I can't be able to master English during this term, however I learned to stop worrying that I would not be able to master English forever. Right now I believe in myself and my studying method. I think that I'll advance a lot until I go back to Japan, if I keep making an effort and work harder.
Lastly, I learned a lot of things in Vanuatu, especially Christianity. I'm going to the Pakarua church every Sunday morning although I'm not a Christian. As a world history teacher in Japan, I'd like to study religion. The main religion of Vanuatu is Christianity, so I can experience a lot about Christianity, meanwhile if I were working in India now, I would join various event of Hindu. Anyway the biggest thing that I learned from Christianity is that most Christian hope everyone's happiness, not only own happiness. I think that I can tell all students in my high school in Japan.
There are a lot of things that I should review and write, however it's time to go out. I'd like to look back my next one third activity seven months later. When I review again, my entry in Lang-8 would have been more than 300 times!!

My minor in University was World Religion so I find it interesting to learn about them, even if I don't believe what they are preaching.
ex: If I woke up earlier my work would be finished by now.
If I were rich, I would be happy.
Yes, studying religion is really interesting even if we don't believe, because we can learn the culture through their religion.
The full phrase is "You're all talk and no action," but it is common to just say "You're all talk."
If you feel that I'm all talk, please show me my fault without hesitating!!
"you put your money where your mouth is"...interesting expression!!
Thanks!!
