　　　the possessive case + adjective + noun
≒He is anxious for his daughter's safe arrival.

subject + verb
■He is proud that his daughter has obtained her degree.

≒He is proud of his daughter having obtained her degree.

→in this case, I thought we had to use "the possessive case".
I leaned that is rule.
But, above sentence didn't use that one. Why?


I'm not sure but "He is proud of his daughter's having obtained her degree." or something like that is OK too?
