My 15-year- old son goes to Highscool which is located far from here.
私の15才の息子はココから遠く離れた高校に通っています。
So, he has stayed in a dormitory since this April.
なので、4月から寮に住んでいます。
He seldom calls me and even when I call him, he answers shortly.
息子は滅多と電話してこないし、私がした時もそっけない返事しかしません。
Yesterday, he called me 3times in a day!
昨日、その息子が一日に3回も電話してきました。
He told me that he had a slight fever.
少し熱があるといってました。
I suggested taking a rest and not going to school but he insisted that he would go.
私は学校に行かないで休んだら？といいましたが行くと言ってききませんでした。
I guess that he just wanted to tell me that ,and wanted me to encouge him.
ただ、私に知らせて、励まして欲しかったのでしょう。
Now I'm packing a lot of his favorites .
私は今、彼の好物をいっぱいつめて荷物を作ってます。
When this package will arrive to him, he will get better and never call me again.
この荷物が届く頃には、風邪も治って、もう一度電話してくる事もないでしょう。

そうですか。たまに、何もいわないで、物を送ってあげて、ああこれは、お母さんが電話しておいでって言ってるのかなあと気づかせてあげましょう。（笑）
本当に、便りがないのが元気な証拠ですよね。私も、毎日イベントレスな日が続きますが、これも幸せの証なのかもしれないと言い聞かせております。（笑）
