I don't know how to say "nothing" in Japanese. Today I thought about nothing.
If I want to become someone who uses foreign languages in my job I have to start doing a challenging study regime everyday.

仕事で外国語言葉を使う人になりたかったら、毎日かなり課題的な勉強をするのよてい計画をしはじまらめなくてはいけません。
"a challenging study" is a natural expression in English?
I changed it to quite a lot (of) because it would take a certain amount of time and effort to master foreign languages.
The first thing that comes up in my mind with the word "regime" is "Ancien Regime" in France.
Can I think of regime as an equivalent of plan?
"get at the heart of" is a good expression! Thanks, I learned something new, too. :)
仕事で外国語を使いたかったら/使うつもりだったら、毎日しっかり勉強をしなければなりません。
しっかり means something like sufficiently, like do what needs to be done.
But しっかり has other several meanings, so please check it if you want.
