Some people argue that "Redskins", the name of an NFL team insults Indians, a former inhabitant in the US.
Local people can still not make a decision whether or not the name should be changed.

The Redskins is based in Washington, which is located between Maryland and Virginia.
The US Patent and Trademark Office canceled six Redskins trademarks because they judged that the name of the team stood for red skin and disparaged Native American.
According to a survey that WTOP, a local radio station, announced on July 1st, 67% of residents in Maryland and 60% of residents in Virginia supported the name, whereas 57% of residents in Washington said that the name should be changed.
