I started watching "Glee Project" three days ago.

"Glee Project" is one of competition programs on TV in the US.
A winner can appear in "Glee season 3", which is a famous American TV drama as a cast.

40,000 people applied for the competition and only 12 applicants won to the last stage.

This program describes how the last applicants practice performances and what they strive to get the glory.

They are very talented, and they have strong individualities respectively.

As it is said that America is a melting pot, there are many unique people.
I can't believe that a regular person can play a Glee cast.
It's an exact American dream, right??

Thank you for your corrections! What is the difference, "describe" and "depict"? I thought their meanings are same.

Actually, not much! Describe is perfectly fine, but I think depicts is slightly better for visual media. Either one is fine though :)

Oh yeah the differences: describe has more to do with using words, while depict has the same meaning but instead of words using images.

It's been a long time since I came back to this site. I notice that your writings have a very nice, calming quality to them.
In your above comment, it would be best to say "because", or if you wish to use slang you should go with either "cuz" (very slangy!) or 'cause.

Also, you wrote it has "many synonym." I bet that you know what is wrong with that.

I just came back to the US from two weeks in Hiroshima for obon. It was very hot and humid!

Thank you for your corrections! I tried to use "cause" because some native speakers often say the word.
