According to Science Magazine, a group of researchers at MIT have invented a microchip that enables people to speak a foreign language of their choice. The microchip is round and 7 mm in diameter. Users are to place them on their belly buttons.
This technology will be put into practical use in two years and the price will be around 30,000 USD per language. The only drawback aside from the price is that the microchips somehow cause their users to blurt out dirty words. All of the 60 trial subjects uttered approximately one vulgar word every 5 sentences they spoke.

That sounds amazing. I don't know though... using a microchip to alter your brain sounds kinda scary... haha!
You don't have to alter your brain. You'll just have to have a microchip on your belly button. ;-)

Sorry for nitpicking.
You're young enough to study, John Boy. :)

Yeah... I get fooled easily.

I'll have to be careful when I read Japanese entries posted by American people tomorrow. :)
I know it's wrong to laugh at the people with diseases, but when I learned that he was a Mormon staying in Japan for missionary work, I bursted into laughter. (^^;)
:D
"claps" reminds me of the story an Australian friend of mine told me about. She had a Japanese friend who was staying in Australia with a working holiday visa. The Japanese girl was very outgoing. When she was asked to sing a Japanese song in front of many Australians, she said, "OK" and stood up. Then she said, "I'm going to sing, so, everybody, please crap."
You know, "L" and "R" are difficult for us to pronounce. :D
Is still difficult for you? Or have you adjusted after some time?
