Actually for the last sentence, I wanted to say "I haven't made new year resolutions, but I have so many wishes (...", not "but I have wishes to make come true".

How do I go about with my original meaning?

If you want to say "I have so many wishes", your Japanese is almost correct.
"私にはたくさんの願い事があります" is better.

But this sentence "でも、自信がある"　seems a bit unnatural.
It's better that you explain for what you have confidence.
自身=oneself 　自信=conficence

I conjecture you want to say "I have a confidence to make my wishes come true."
If not, please tell me what you really wanted to say.
