Is there any language with the different meaning by the same pronunciation in a foreign language?

And the same meaning by the same pronunciation?

First time, i went to Thailand when i saw a beautiful girl so i said her kirei, kirei.

She got mad at me what I said it.

That time, I did not know that kirei means ugly in Thailand but kirei means beautiful in Japan.

Do you also have such an experience?

Apparently "narak" in Thai means "cute" and means "hell" in Korean.

You know that kirei means beautiful in Japan but thai means ugly.
