My co-worker has pain in her knee. She will be given surgery to replace her knee to artificial one shortly. Recently she looks depressed. I said “How about your knee.” She said “Thank you. Not so good.” “I had some experiences to perform that kind of operation as a surgeon. Don’t worry too much. It is not so risky one. Nowadays, it is one of the standard medical treatment.” “You did it?” “Yes. I did it as a main operator or an assistant operator. So I know it well.” “Aha. Of course, I have some friends who have given the surgery and I know it is not special one. But for me... It is not so calm...” “Hum... I agree with you. It is not same ‘for someone’ and ‘for me’.... But I believe that you will get comfortable knee soon.” I regret whether my advice is suitable or not in this case...
