economics Dec 28th 2008 16:40

I'm interested in human behaviors under certain circumstances. For that purpose, economics is a useful tool for me. Both Game Theory and Neo-Darwinism inspire me a lot.

I'm an entrepreneur. I can create a brand-new company so that I can design my company --- a small society --- as I like, without any interventions.

I want to be the first "society designer." I won't design a concrete society itself, but design a least set of rules to let a society grow autonomously.

I bet free market and spontaneous order will work because I'm a libertarian.

You probably already know about freakonomics:

I read Freakonomics in Japanese. It illustrates how human behaviors are ruled by incentives. I like the book. It's one of the books that made me learn economics. The other books are Super Crunchers, The Numbers Behind Numb3rs: Solving Crime With Mathematics, Fooled By Randomness and so on. I read them in Japanese.

I want to read some more economic books --- The Black Swan, Freedomnomics --- but they have not been translated into Japanese yet.

That's why I began to learn English. It's a strong incentive to me :-)

Thank you.

Thanks for your comment, luvayu2004. Could you give me an advice again?

> I can(want to?) create a brand-new company

I've already made my company four years ago. I mean "create" as establishing some companies in future, "can" as ability to do that. So I prefer to use "can create" than "want to create." Does it("can") sound still odd to you?

The second correction you gave me is very helpful.

I'd appreciate it if you would reply me.

Thanks.

Arrow_31I've built one company already, but I'd like to create a brand-new one so that I can design my company --- a small society --- as I like, without any interferences.
