The tagline of Lang-8 says "Infinite Languages." It's obvious that 8 comes from ∞. And Lang-8 sounds like "lang gate" which means a cross-language gateway. I mean gateway as a link between two computer programs allowing them to share information and bypass certain protocols on a host computer.
It sticks in my head.
A good naming, isn't it?

Oh, really? Thank you! I'm so pleased to know that. I'm so happy.
To tell the truth, I'm only an English writer, not an English speaker. Bacause I have spoken English speakers just a few times, 10 at most, in my life. If I met you, I'd be quiet or halt like a broken robot :-)
