I was having fun with my girls in my room when the phone rang. My niece came and grabbed me by the arm. She said : Astou, phone !
I walked to the phone and picked it up.
Then I started freaking out when the guy said that he was from the Japanese embassy. He asked me if I was Aissatou Thimbo Sene, I said yeah.
He then told me that I had been selected for the Mext scholarship...and that the next step is going through a written test in English, and an interview.
I could not believe my ears. The guy told me that the test is next week and he explained a lot of stuff. But woah,I was soo shocked !
Me? Was that really me he was talking about? Could it be a wrong number?
I don't want to celebrate yet, I don't know, this is just a preselection. But, omgsh I can't help feeling happy ! I went to the beach and I yelled all afternoon haha I danced in the waves and got all wet. My jeans are soaked but I am soo happy. Our neighbours were laughing but they are used to my ... What can I call it? XD Hahaha. I am sorry but I am happy, who cares if it jinx or not, who cares if I succeed or not in the end, I can't help feeling happy !

It was not really underestimating, it was being realistic, I really feel like people see me as some hero when I'm just a kid
