Is there anyone who likes Owl City?

I have met with several American friends these days,I chated with them and really had a good time.We talked about weather,films,music,study and so on.When they asked me who's songs are my favourite,my answer is Owl City's,and my ipod is full of his songs.To my surprise,not even one know well about him.What my American friends said is just I don't like his songs,I just heard of him,I never heard of a Owl City.
I have heard almost all his songs,and I like the Hello Seattle best.When I asked one of American friends from Seattle if she have heard this song,she said never.It really confused me.
Is Owl City familiar to American people?is there anyone who likes Owl City as well?

Hi. I used to like Owl City too. Their song "Fireflies" was popular here in the Philippines. My favorite song by them is "The Bird and the Worm." I like how they use nature to convey what they have to say.

I think quite a few people know who Owl City is...
There a lot of bands that sound similar such as, Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service. They've been around for awhile. I guarantee a lot more people listen to those :)
