But, I’m so sorry, my answer to this question is “I have no idea”. It’s because, I have no courage to say that Todai’s students are smarter than Tsinghua’s, on the other hand, I have pride as the student of Todai, so I don’t want to say Tsinghua’s is smarter than Todai’s. (It is joke). However, if you assumed that Todai’ students ware so smart, you would overestimate us. Although I’ve met some smart students in campus, most of the students are ordinary people. If you meet me, you can understand the meaning of it.

One is whether they go for a PhD, and the other is whether they study abroad. First, let met talk about PhD. In Tsinghua, I met a lot of PhD candidates and undergraduate students who would like to proceed to PhD. Nevertheless where they are going to work, it seems that they consider to get PhD degree first is the best career. On the other hand, most of the students in Todai don’t expect to go for a PhD. In Todai, many students start working after taking bachelor’s degree or master’s degree, because even though they take PhD degree, it would not lead to good career in Japan. It is the different point of Japan compared to the other countries including China.

(Maybe it is not the difference only of two universities but of universities in China and Japan.). And it seems that the difference affect how the students make their friends. In Todai, most of the students join the club, like sports clubs, art clubs and student organizations, and they spend most of their time with the members of the clubs. Accordingly, the relationships of clubs become strongest for them

In any place I found students studying hard from morning till night. Regarding this point, I respect Tsinghua students very much.
On the contrary, Todai’s students don’t study so hard like Tsinghua’s students. (Here study means studying for the classes.) Why? It is because, there are few advantages for them to study hard and get good scores. In Japan, for recruit, the scores of school is not so important, on the other hand companies make much of their experiences of extracurricular activities, such as club activity, internship, volunteer and so on. Therefore, a lot of students are motivated not to study hard, but do such kinds of activities.

我觉得日本的自行车利用的特色是下述的。

第一个特色是，大部分的自行车是ママチャリ(我怎么说这个用汉语？)，像中国。
但是我觉得这事一般的。
我去过几个欧洲国家和美国，又了解大部分自行车是公路自行车(road bike)。

第二个特色是，骑自行车人不保持车的规则。
自行车有时候走在人行道，又走右边(在日本车要走左边)。
我去了欧洲的时候，都自行车保持规则像汽车。

第三个特色是，大城市的中心，尤其东京，有不多自行车。
由于在大城市的中心座地铁很方便很多人用它，所以骑自行车人很少。

这些是日本的自行车的特色。

The second was, "almost how many bicycles you fix in a day?".

她回答，她们刚来的时候，由于大学有很少自行车店，一天她们修七十或是八十车。
She answered, when they had came, since there had been less bicycle shops, they had fixed about 70 or 80 bicycles in a day.

The third was, "when students come at most?".
