Recently, the occasion to get on a train is increasing. So, I start to read a book again at the commuting time. Now, I'm reading the following book.

Recently, I get on the train more often.
So, I've started to read a book again at the commuting time during my commute.
This also makes sense without "a book" ("I've started to read again..."), especially since you mention the book in the next sentence.
Now, I'm reading the following book.:
"the following" is not wrong, but it's usually used in formal writing. I would probably say "Now, I'm reading this book:" instead.
Reading is my favorite thing to do when I ride the bus instead of driving. :)
