It went to the drinking party today with my friends. It was nice, but there are many drink party recently. I will drink less than one usually does for a while.

It went to the a drinking party today with my friends.>> if i knew about the party (e.g. you told me beforehand) it would be 'i went to the party' i.e. 'the party we both know about'. in this case, the 'a' in 'a party' means 'あるパーチ'.
It was nice, but there are many drink party recently.>> 1. parties>> 2. 'recently' = past until now => 'there have been'
well, sometimes less is more
