sakura : Enjoy (3)

I haven't written this journal recently! How have you been up to friends?

Colorado is still cold, but in the day time, the sunlight is too strong.

I have enjoyed my life in Colorado, and I made many friends from foreign countries!

I haven't talked to native so much because I'm little afraid to make mistakes.

But, I'm getting used to this life. Especially, my abilities of listening is getting better, I think.

Also, I feel glad that I'm Japanese because many of people know about Japanese culture such as cortoon, and they are interested in Japan!

I often talk about Japanese anime and cortoon to them. For example, in Saudi Arabia, Meitanteikonann and Chibimarukotyann are very popular, and in Indonesia, Naruto is the most popular!

I'm glad to hear that, but we also have other interesting cultuer in Japan! So, I want them to know another aspect of Japan, and I want to know cultuer of other countries!

Anyway, I enjoy my American life :)

sakura : Everyday (2)

I have lived Colorado for 3 weeks. It's very nice, but I have a lot of assignments everyday. I have been doing my homework for more than 5 hours.

There are many Arabic students in my English classes. When I was in Japan, I had not seen Arabic people. They are friendly! I became friends with many of them. Also, there are many indonesian students. They will go back home in May. It's earier than Japanese students because most of us will go back home in December. When I was asked about Japanese religion by them, I said most of Japanese people don't have religion. Then, they were really surprised.
Classes are fun! But they are often difficult for me. Especially, I am weak in listning and speaking.
Colorado is windy and dry, but I can see blue sky everyday.

sakura : Hatsushima in Atami (1)

I went to Hatsushima which is a small island in shizuoka prefecture with my family.
We got the ship from Atami harbor, and 25 minutes later we arrived at 'Hatsushima'!

Hatsushima is so small island that I was very surprised!
Actually, you can probablly go around the island within 30 minutes.
Now, I have some stories which I was surprised.

First,It's about fish restaurants!
There were a few people except tourists. Most of them work as a fisherman and run thier fish restaurants. But these restaurants usually are closed at 4pm!!
It is too early!! Thus if you eat dinner at these restaurants, you have to make a reservation. Of cours we make an appointment and eat delicious foods. but I was surprised to hear that someone who want to have a dinner need a reservation.

Second, there are only one school!
It plays rolls of elementary school and junior high school. Probablly I thought there are a only few children going to this school beacuse I havn't seen a child while I have taken a tour.
So, if children living there reach to the high school, they have to move others to go to the school. I wonder if they are sad.

Anyway this trip were full of surprising and happlly!

Thank you for reading.

Well,Valentine is almost here.In my country It is usual that the woman presents for the man who she loves. I hear that the woman recieves some presents from the man in foreign countrise. How about your country?

But recentry Japanese woman also presents for friends, classmates, family and collegues. It means 'Always Thank you'.
I supose that Japanese dosen't like presents for only one person. We use some opportunities to return a favor for another person.
Is it good or bad?
