実は、英語が話せる人として和英翻訳をアップするのはLang-8にふさわしいかどうか迷ったんです。
でも、前の日記で本当にみんなさんに助かってもらいましたから、やってみようと思います。興味がある方が読んでくれたら嬉しいからです！
歌詞は分かりにくいなので、誤解したらぜひ教えてください！

「目の前にいる」という慣用句は、あるものが目の前に感じられるほど近いという意味で使います。
なので、「僕は君の近くに立っているのに、（君の沈黙が聞こえない）」という解釈ができます。

解釈が分かれると思いますが、
youは「君」ではなく、「この歌を聞いている君」だと、私は解釈します。
なぜなら、上の文で主語がeveryoneとなり、主語が拡大されているからです。
長いので、２回に分けます。

やっと休みに入ってからまとまった時間を見つけました！
lang-8で日記を書く時間を見つけたような場合、「暇を見つけた」とは言いません。「暇」という言葉には、「なにもすることがない」といったニュアンスがあります。
歌詞は分かりにくい歌詞なので、誤解しているところがあったらぜひ教えてください！

Japanese language often omits subjects. We can omit objects, too.
僕もまた沈黙を聴かれた
Who heard the silence of “僕”?
jin-san interpreted it as “you,” but I think that 僕 had his silence heard by somebody else in the past. In Japanese, writers don’t have to make it clear who heard the silence. They can leave the interpretation to their readers.
If I were you, I would translate it as “I, too, had my silence heard.”
Btw, また in this sentence doesn’t mean “again”.
Not only do you understand the Japanese better (naturally!), but I feel like your English writing style is better than mine too!
The omission of subjects (and objects) is a real problem for me when translating Japanese. Since there's a much more rigid format in English, I find it easy to misunderstand.
Your advice will certainly come in useful! :) It's interesting how it seems the narrative of the song changes quite a bit from the perspective of native and non-native speakers.
Those journal entries are also very interesting.
Since poetry is an artform, I suppose it's like trying to use a different medium to recreate an image. You might be able to tell what it's trying to show, but the impression will always be different!
I hadn't realized how difficult the way we omit subjects looks to Japanese learners until I joined lang-8. I see many foreigners struggling with it.
But I also see some native English speakers write excellent Japanese entries. I know one American guy on lang-8 who writes like a professional Japanese writer. He writes better Japanese than the majority of Japanese people. His writing skill is really amazing.
Your Japanese will be like his since you've been working so hard. :)

「ろくに」はこの場合不適切な気がします。
「ろくに…ない」は正しい使用方法ですが、かなりネガティブな意味になります。
例えば、「ろくに単語も載っていない（辞書）」だと、辞書に対して強い不満を持った意味になります。

In Japan , when people send a telegram, it written in "KATAKANA".
Telegram can send message from far place.

英語は主語や述語が明確ですから感覚を理解するのは難しいと思います。
Japanese sometime omits subject and predicate,so we have to image from context.It is difficult for English speaker. Because English's subject and predicate is always clear.
そのかわり、日本語には 冠詞などの表現がありませんから、僕もしょっちゅう間違えます^^;
But Japanese doesn't have article.So I often miss article.^^;

is TALES OF THE ABYSS's theme song.
ZERO is FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0's theme song.
(There isn't ZERO's youtube video^^;)
Ahh...I didn't realise Karma was a theme song! It seems strange matched up to those pictures, lol.
But it's been ages since I've played a JRPG （日本で作られたロールプレーイングゲーム） like that. I kinda want to play it now!♪

私は、Lang8 で歌詞の英訳をしたことがあります。
歌の２番（words of the second verses）で、
人称の変化（わたし→僕、あなた→君）によって、主語の変化（女→男）を表現していました。
私の英語力では、歯が立ちませんでした。
やっぱり難しいですね～。その例もかなり難しそうです。
この日記で助けてくれたので、私が見てほしい歌詞があれば、言ってください！
一緒に日本語と英語の能力を合わせたら、なんとかなると思いますね ＾＾
(「歯が立つ」とはどういう意味ですか？)

Japan is soooo windy and is raining heavily today.
