Many people around me are going to do s short period of language study in spring or summer vacation.
Most of them go probably for one month.
Naturally I also want to go, but inorder to do a language study abroad I have to do a lot of part-time jobs and save much money.
However, it's difficult because I can't spend much time on part-time jobs.
And top of that I'd like to try something special which people around me don't do.
Then I've come up with one idea.
Instead of going for study, isn't it a good idea to travel across America alone, from NY to Los Angeles.
I think it's more reasonable and I can get special experience.
What do you think about my plan?

And On top of that I'd like to try something special which people around me don't do.This is correct but it sounds more natural to say On top of that I would like to try something different than what everyone else is doing.
I think this sounds exciting, especially if you think it will save you money.
I have always been an advocate for real life experience compared to only classroom study. But, please be careful and have a contact or friend in the United States for safety purposes, that you keep in touch with.
Oh... For the first time, I think it costs a lot to do a short stay for language study because the tuition fee for the language school is very expensive.
But after I listened to other's opinion here, I'm getting to know this way of thinking may be false :-(
Anyway, I have to collect information and alter my plan!
travelling abroad is a good idea to spend holidays and practice english. but if you want to travel alone maybe you need alot. more money, more information, and more risk. if you have thought bout all of risk, accept all the consequences, then just enjoy your adventure and have a nice trip ^________^
