Hi!How do?
I'm pretty good!
But I have a problem on my mind....
I will be going to US on 25 this month.
Then I came to get a something to stay-apartment or share-house.
And so,I posted my ads to message board which is like a community site in NYC.
Then,A few people sent a message to me,
and one of that message's condition matches my requirement.
After sending message,He recommend that I better to make a reservation.
And,He require a refundable reservation deposit and a one month apartment rent in advance via Western Union(famous international money transfer service).
I know that there are so many fraud like this.
Then,I require a identification.
His reply is NO problem,He is able to send me a passport copy.
I haven't received yet.(If I require,He probably send that to me.)
Then,I have some question.
First,In the US,People who wanna get a reservation have to pay reservation deposit and one month rent in advance ordinarily?(I don't know US's common culture....)
Second,Is his passport copy good enough to identify him?
So,If you have a another solution,Please tell me...
Sorry for my dark post.
Thanks,
Yuki.

Hi!How do you do?
But I have a problem in my mind....
I will be going to US on the 25th this month.
Then I came to find something to stay in an apartment or a shared house.
And so,I posted my ads to the message board which is like a community site in NYC.
and one of those messages terms&conditions matches my requirement.
After replying the message, he recommend that I better to make a reservation.
I know that there are many cases of fraud like this.
I haven't received it yet.(If I require,He probably send that to me.)
^^V
After trade, He didn't reply any more.
Thanks for your advice.
I'm going to stay guest house, and so I will looking for shared house^^
Thanks!
BUT, usually you pay that when you move in. I don't know why he needs it in advance by Western Union. You should ask him if he will accept it when you go to the U.S. in person. If he says no, then run away.
I don't recommend staying in a hotel, it is very expensive (more expensive than Japan by a lot). A hostel will be cheap enough, but it sucks staying in a hostel. A motel is a good compromise, but there are many dirty bad ones.
I'll stay 3months in only NYC.
I'm going to stay guest house which run by Japanese.
After one week stay, I'll find a shared house^^
Thanks( ´∀`)
I'll be careful in not only japan but also NYC....
I will be going to US on the 25th of this month.
And so I posted my ads to a message board which is like a community site for NYC.
and one of that message's conditions matches my requirement. (This correction is for if a group of people sent you one message together.)
After replying to the message, he recommended that I better to make a reservation. (After a comma, there should be a space and the first letter shouldn't be capitalized unless the word is a proper noun.)
And he required a refundable reservation deposit and a one month apartment rent in advance via Western Union (famous international money transfer service).
I know that there are so many cases of fraud like this.
Then, I require an identification.
His reply is NO problem. He is able to send me a passport copy.
I haven't received it yet. (If I require it, he will probably send it to me.)
Then, I have some questions.
First, in the US, do people who wanna get a reservation have to pay reservation deposit and one month rent in advance ordinarily? (I don't know US's common culture....)
Article is very difficult for me....
And, I always forget spacing...
Thanks^^
Hi! How do? (Make space between punctuation and words.)
I'm pretty good! (This is good.)
But I have a problem on my mind.... ('On' is correct.)
I will be going to US on the 25th of this month. ( I agree with the second correction.)
Then I looked for an apartment or to rent a room in a house.
And so I posted an ad on a message board which is like a community site in NYC.
Then a few people sent me a message,
and one of the messages' conditions matched my requirement.
In his reply, he recommended that I make a reservation.
And he required a refundable reservation deposit and a one month's apartment rent in advance via Western Union (a famous international money transfer service).
I know that there are many cases of fraud like this. (I agree with the first correction.)
So, I required some identification from him.
His reply was, no problem, he would be able to send me a copy of his passport.
I haven't received it yet.(If I required it, he will probably send it to me.)
But I have some questions.
First, in the US, do people who wanna get a reservation usually have to pay a reservation deposit and one month's rent in advance?(I don't know what's common in US culture...)
Second, is a copy of his passport good enough to identify him?
If you have a another solution, please tell me...
I once had to rent a room for a weekend to attend a friend's wedding in NYC but I didn't have to send the money in advance. I paid when I met with the apartment manager. I think it's safer to give the money in person and when you're physically here so that you won't get tricked out of your money.
It also depends on how long you're staying and how much your budget is. If you need help looking for a reputable place, I might be able to assist you. Good luck!

I'll be careful about capitalization, punctuation and spacing.
I quite forgot English grammar.
I'm going to find a room via a trader of Japanese descent.
Thank for your always and detailed correction!(^O^)
