I attend it after a week. *I'll attend it in a week. *It starts next week.

They wanted to learn any languages but why did they give up?

I think that they don’t [know/understand/recognize] the effort.

I always have the effort to learn so far and it's been 3 years and I didn’t give up.

I will continue my effort in my lessons.

I couldn't understand their way of thinking.

They wanted to learn many/different languages, so why did they give up?

I think that they didn't exert enough effort. / I think that they don't know how to put in effort.

I always worked hard to learn as much as I could for the past three years, and I didn't give up.

Effort is the most important thing when taking lessons.

I will continue to work hard.

"I will continue to exert effort" would have made sense as well, but it would sound a bit redundant as the word "effort" has been mentioned quite a number of times in this post :-)
