Over half of the CEOs in Japan are optimistic about the future.

According to Nikkei’s front page today, over half of the CEOs among the major enterprises of Japan are optimistic about their sales results this year, even though the earthquake occurred. Also, almost nobody said that they changed their plan for employment.

For example, solar cells are not in short supply but they sell like hot cakes even though it is said that supply chains haven't yet completely recovered. Moreover, it is used to be said that solar cells made in Japan were quite more expensive than the ones made overseas; however, the current street price by Japanese companies like SHARP, SANYO, etc. seems to overwhelm the products made by foreign companies.

However, this is the view by the top 100 enterprises. Many companies must be in trouble.
