"Benjamin" and "諭吉"
Another subject from my yesterday's English lesson.
We talked about words meaning money for some reason.
I knew "bucks", but there is a lot of words elsewhere.
"paper", "bread", "Ka-ching", "ducat", "stacks", "moolah" ...
What a lot of subjects they talk about money! lol
And "Benjamin" means money, too.
Because "Benjamin Franklin" is printed on a hundred-dollar bill.
The similar word is "諭吉（Yukichi）" in Japanese.
昨日の英語のレッスンからもう１つ。
なぜか、お金を表わす言葉の話になりました。
bucksくらいは知ってたけど、他にもたくさんあるのね～。

I knew "bucks", but there are a lot of other words.
What a lot of words for money!
It is difficult for me how to distinguish singular from plural. XD
We do say "He has stacks of money",(hidden)lol, but this is mostly used by the older generation. We also say "He has a wad of money in his wallet". And Americans can also say " mucho denero" maybe spelled wrong but it means much money.(in spanish)
My teacher explained to me that "Ka-ching" is sound of cash register.
