Recent days, I've written an application form for research support. The requirement of the application is having an accommodating view about international exchanges. I've wanted to research abroad and I meet the requirement, but it is difficult to show the acceptability. Thus, I stated I'm participating lang-8. Now, I'm storongly worrying whether this is good or bad for passing the probation of my application......

A person who has accommodating views about international exchange
In the past few days, I've been preparing an application for a research grant. / Recently, I've just finished preparing an application for a research grant.
One of the major requirements of this / in this / of the application is to have an accommodating view about international exchange.
I've wanted to do research abroad and to meet the requirement, but it is difficult to show (actual) evidence. / I've been wanting to conduct research abroad...
Thus, I've stated that I've participated in Lang-8.
Now, I'm very worried whether (or not) this was a good or bad choice for my application......
Hi shin-chan,
Let me know if I didn't interpret something in your text correctly.
Concerning your application, I think it depends on the way you described your activities. For a research grant, experience in international exchange may have to be on professional level. Have you had a chance to check out the profiles of previous recipients for this grant? Normally, each applicant is chosen for their unique set of skills and knowledge, but it could also be helpful to see how each person has reached out to an international community.
This grant is for a Japanese graduated college student of all fields to support their research. I think they require whether I can study something in international level, so the most content of the application is about my research and its data. I wanted to show my desire to conduct research abroad even if only slightly, so I briefly introduced Lang-8. I hope it become spice for the application.
Thank you for your nice corrections!
