In summer, many Japanese people enjoy scared stories to forget the hotness. The threaten story make us get a chill. I decided that if I found ghost or something, and I get some evidence of it, I would report it in scientific journal, but scared things are surely scare me. In Asia, if a girl with long black hair and pale face is at the dark and narrow pass, many of us feel scariness, but I heard many western people not so. The mysteriousness why she is at such a place make us scared. I heard to scare western people, more bloodiness is needed. It is interesting that the scariness is also depending on our culture. Shaken by the scared story, my hot summer is going. Sorry to say that from now, I have to do my experiment in dark condition....

I think it is true that here scary stories always seem to have a lot of blood (by here I mean the USA). Although I personally think the scariest stories are the ones with less blood (makes them more real when it is less gory or violent).
So you are going to try to find your own ghost then? Is that what you meant by the last sentence?

Personally, I find masks and uncertainty to be scary. For example, seeing something out of the corner of my eye is scarier than being able to look at it in detail sometimes.
I do not think blood is scary. A person covered in blood who is standing in the dark might be scary, because I would think he/she killed someone else.
If I met such a thing, I would take a picture and run away at full power.
