I'm reading "Futatsu no Sokoku(二つの祖国): Two Motherlands" written by Toyoko Yamazaki(山崎豊子).
It's a long story during World War 2 that was called Taiheiyo senso(太平洋戦争) in Japan.
Ms. Yamazaki collected information thoroughly and wrote the story about the sufferings of a Japanese-American.
There are descriptions about Tokyo Trial based on historical fact that I didn't learn at school.
Furthermore, she wrote the process that Japan went toward the war.

I think contemporary Japan which was destroyed people's patriotic spirit by GHQ can't be a strong country.
