The Words by a Zimbabwean

The words that a Zimbabwean man said to me a couple weeks ago still remain in my mind.
He said that people killed each other in Zimbabwe, but Japanese people respect lives of others.
I was glad to know he felt like that.
I told him why Japanese people cherish others' lives like following;
I was taught our lives are given by 天(ten):something great and we have been relayed our lives from parents to children for a long long time.
The root of my life is my ancestors and much deeper part of the root is something great.
So, each person connects in deep bottom of one's life.
That's why Japanese people worship ancestors and respect others' lives.

However, a man injured three people for the purpose of killing someone in Iwate, Japan...
