My new computer

I got a new computer today.
Although the shop clerk offered to start it up, I refused because it needed one day and my daughter told me that she would be able to do it.
Coming back to my home, I asked my daughter to start it up.
She said, "Mom, I'll tell you how to do it. Why don't you do it by yourself?"
So I tried it and it was unexpectedly easy.
I asked her to backup and set up other functions.
At the beginning, it worked well, but somehow, the computer suddenly froze.
What happened?
Was it broken on the first day I bought?
I will go to the shop tomorrow.
I wonder if I have to pay money to recover it.
