On this January, my father hit his head during his working on ship, my father was fisherman, and his brain partly died. I don't know how to say this symptom in English exactly, but my father looks like a old person who can barely memorize things and only remember past things. Fortunately, he still remember me, but it's me 5 years ago. I'm 22 years old, but he think I'm still high school student.
Of the above reasons or something else, I changed my mind and decided to look for a job. Before I made the decision, I prepared to go to graduate school in abroad. Thinking back now, the plan was not realistic. If I go to graduate school in abroad, it would cost $3,000 a year, and I wanted to study for 2 years. I was going to be suffered from the debts in the future.

Now, I want to ask you guys about my opinion. Is this just to escape from my reality?? I didn't make this decision reluctantly, because still I can go to graduate school in the future by my earned money. Moreover, if I go to graduate school, master degree is not valued by company in Japan besides the posts that require professional knowledge.

In addition, nowadays, the businesses that are related with the climate change issues, such as some kind of research, and home appliance productions: as you know environmentally friendly productions are much more popular than the ones are not.
If we have choice when we buy home appliances, most people would buy environmentally friendly products for sure. Now, that’s is the point why the climate change issues are related with business. Actually thanks to the issues, lots of productions were bought by the people who were care about environment issues instead of old products that generated more carbon dioxide than the new ones.
To sum up, it appears obvious that the climate change issues are deeply related with businesses, and if climate scientists say the gradual theory of global warming is wrong, lots of people would lose their job. Sometimes truth is distorted by some people who get benefit from those, although I'm not sure whether the global warming theory is untrue or not. Accordingly, we have to considerate things by ourselves, and not sentimental augment.

However, in terms of old people who live in Vancouver they are more friendly and more active than those people in Japan. For instance, lots of old people often go to Church, Beach and Cafe and talk with someone else, both their friends and strangers. It seems that they still have opportunities to make new friends. While in Japan, if old people who live alone don't have any friends, they would just stay at home and watching TV or something.
Therefore, people in Japan place more values on their families through their lives than the people in Vancouver, I think. Nevertheless, it seems that there are more lonely old people in Japan, because I saw more old people who laughed outside in Canada than in Japan.

Those people tend to have something in common, for example, hanging out with only not native friends from same country. Even though they are immigrants to these country, actually there are lots of people who can't speak its public language(I realized it in Canada).
Well, this would be very long. Okay, long story short, my point is if we think in these languages and keep trying to work out sentences, like speaking and writing, we could be like native speaker I guess, except for pronunciation. [My answer]

Nowadays, thanks to development of various transportation, it became much more easier to travel to other countries. In famous sightseeing spots, these visitors are significant source of money and even for universities, students from over seas are really important to run the university. Then, what are advantage and disadvantage about this topic.

For instance, in Japan, there are lots of temples and some of these are very popular among visitors. These people are usually respect for our culture, actually I haven't ever heard that visitors behave badly in these temple so far. I think they came there and acted like Japanese do, then they could really feel Japanese culture. Also, I think it's the most important thing of traveling abroad. If these people don't even try to imitate Japanese behaviors, they would never understand Japanese culture, and also any other countries' culture. On the other hand, the host countries have to welcome cultural differences more or less. As I said in first paragraph, these people are really important for traveling business. They are "visitor" and also "customer", so host countries couldn't defy them for profits. Here is the key of this topic I think. As developing transportation, tourist business were also developed.

In conclusion, I'm neutral about this topic. The reasons why I made this decision to become neutral are the followings. First, visitors can only understand when they try to understand the host countries culture, following local customs and behaving like the people living there. In my opinion, it is most important thing to see other culture. Secondly, these visitors are also "customers" for host countries, so they have to welcome cultural differences more or less. Visitors must think about these two point I pointed here. I think it depends on the people's purpose for traveling to agree or disagree to this topic.

I solved text book again... Please someone correct my essay for me...(´・ω・｀)

[my answer]

The diagrams show how Life cycle of the silkworm and production of sild cloth go.

First, the diagram of Life cycle of silkworm shows us how silkworm’s life cycle rotate. According to this diagram, one cycle from hatching to becoming moth needs about 10 weeks. Also if they are chose for making cloth, when they are on stage of cocoon, they can’t become a moth.

On next diagram, it indicates how silk cloths are made. There are 6 stages, Select, Boil, Unwind, Twist, Dye and Weave until silk clothes are made. Above things are all we can know from the diagrams. I don’t have any idea that how many cocoons are needed to make one silk cloth. Also, they only indicate outline of Life cycle of the silkworm and production of silk cloth, so we can’t know more than these outline.



I couldn't answer well.... 20 min was too short to make my answer for me...

Successful sports professionals can earn a great deal more money than people in other important professions. Some people think this is fully justified while others think it is unfair.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

[My answer]

Nowadays, some sports professionals can earn too large amount of money unnecessarily I think. Even though the sports professionals are still teenager, the rewards for their games are too much beyond the amount that normal people can earn through their entire lives. But I agree that these people can get such amount of money if the amount were halved.

First, why do these kind of people can earn such amounts of money? I think the amounts of rewards would distort their purpose of playing sports. I know one pro golf player whose father resigned his job for managing a office for his son. It’s obvious that his father can earn much money than working as normal business man. In his father’s case, I can’t help myself think he resigned his job not for his son but for money. The games that competitive sports professional play are very good advertisement for the companies that financially supports the tournaments. That’s the reason why they can earn too much money, but it’s means many people watch these games. Actually, I don’t have any other idea for entertaining people more than watching sports. The lose of a national team sometimes trigger a big deal of mob and depression over the country. Nowadays, sports can take place of national identity and the results of games affect the citizen’s mind.

In conclusion, I agree that the professional sports players can earn large amount of money, but still I think the amount they can get is too much and it’s possible to distort their purpose for playing sports. These pro sports players should always remember lots of their fans enjoy their games and so these sports player can get such amount of money.



After finishing to write this, I realized I didn't discussed both view.....

[my answer]
The table shows how average distance traveled per person per year were increased between 1985 and 2000.

First of all, the most significantly increased portion is car section. It was increased as one and half times large as the figure in 1985 by about 4800 miles in 2000, and the other increased portions are Long distance bus, Train, Taxi and Others. On the other hand, the most decreased portion is Local bus section. It was decreased by about 280 miles in 2000.

On this table, the decreased portions are “Walking”, “Bicycle” and “Local Bus”, and total travel distance per person was increased throughout the 15 years. This means people got to tend to travel long distance, because those decreased portions on the table are all for short distance, and the other increased portions are be able to be used to long distance travel, especially Long distance bus use are doubled throughout the 15 years.

Today, the high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising and not the real needs of the society in which they are sold.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

[My answer]

I know some people, especially younger people, tend to buy things that they actually don’t need to buy at all. But I think it is normal thing, because people, especially in their early age, usually don’t know what they exactly want to get. In my opinion, I agree with exaggerated advertisements for those kind of people to get to know what they exactly want to buy. But I have one exception. It’s for environmentally friendly productions.

Nowadays, there are lots of environmentally friendly products on market. They say no CFCs, smaller electricity consumption, recyclable and so on. Actually these product’s sales are better than other normal products, because nowadays, people think environmental issues are big problem. But in practice, sometimes these productions are used other not environmentally material instead. Also some recycle methods for plastics use more oil to use machinery than making new one from oil. Back to main topic, exaggerated advertisement boosts the sales of these faking environmentally products. It doesn’t make any sense at all. In this case, advertisements just help environment become worse and worse. To make matters worse, advertisements for such faking environmental products just deceive kind people to buy these products, emphasizing endangered environment.

In conclusion, I agree with exaggerated advertisements as process that people become matured except for environmental products. Some of these environmental products take advantage of people’s kind heart, and help environment become worse. People should know about what the product they try to buy is beforehand. Otherwise, buying wrong productions trigger distorted consumption.

[Global water use by sector] ~ Summarise the information ~

The graph indicates how water consumptions changed through a century. The largest port of water consumption is for agricultural use, and also that part is the most dramatically changed among 3 different use of water on the graph. It was changed from about 500 ㎦ of water consumption to about 3,000 ㎦ through a century. It means that it increased 6 times as large. On the other hand, the other sections, industrial use and domestic use, are far below of the line of agricultural use. Those two section’s consumptions were very small on 1900, so we can see what times it changed as large.
Now, the table that is below the graph illustrates how irrigated lands are related with water consumption in same country. If these two countries on the table don’t import any agriculture, we can guess Brazil export lots of agriculture to abroad, provided D.R.C’s low water consumption per person.

For the above reason, I, the Korean guy and some other friends of his went to a restaurant and after that, went to a nearby beach. Somehow I didn't feel like to speak with his friends at that time at beach. I sat at a bench and talked to a old man sitting alone next to me. Of course, I didn't know who he is. At first he looked at me suspiciously and cautiously, but I didn't care, because I just wanted to spend my time with someone else but not my Korean friend's friends. Also, I knew that the people like that old man are like to talk with somebody. We talked for 10 minutes or more after all, and as my friend seemed like going home, I left him. When I left him, he smiled and hold out his hand to me. We shook hands with one another, and he told me his name. We won't probably meet each other, but I reconfirmed how Canadian are friendly : )

Just wondered this rambling thought, but I think more or less this thought cause some suicide. In Japan, one person per each about 4 thousand people kill themselves. It's quoted from some statistics.
