I moved to a new house to rent in LA.
The building itself is old but the wall has been repainted, the floor has been renewed and new kitchen devices has been installed.
The location is good.
There are supermarkets, national preserved park, good elementary school, gym within foot area.
I don’t worry about the safety.
Our residential area is surrounded with the wall and has the gate that prevent from alien’s visiting.
It’s spacious. It’s fifty percent larger than my own house in the central Kyoto, Japan.
Of course it’s expensive. But the rent charge is paid by my company that is generous for only employee’s residents in foreign countries from the view of safety. Unfortunately that generosity doesn’t refer to our salary or other work conditions.
