My nine year old son had asked me to buy a wrist watch for him.
He said all of his friends were wearing their own watches.
I remembered that my parents gave me a wrist watch at the same age as him in order for me to come back home by the dinner time, because I often played outside until late evening forgetting the time.
I liked the watch, which had the design of the Peter Pan on its face.
Yesterday, I bought him a sports type digital watch with the black Velcro belt by a sports maker, “Champion” at a discount store, “Target” near my house.
He was glad so much to get his own watch, although it was just 14 dollars.
He, who is wearing a wrist watch, seems to get older than before.
