On Tuesday, I stayed at a hotel in Laguna Beach with a president and a tour planning staff of our sister company in Japan.
My colleague in reservation division who booked the hotel explained to me that since luxury hotels in Laguna Beach were crowded because of summer holiday season, he booked a hotel that he didn't know but his acquaintance of a Convention Bureau recommended.
I checked it on it's homepage.
It seemed a good boutique hotel facing the beautiful sea.
When we arrived at the hotel, I was surprised.
The hotel was a shabby motel.
I checked yelp.
Many people complained about the hotel.
I apologized to the president and staff.
Fortunately, the president didn't care saying the hotel was enough for him to sleep alone.
I should have gathered more information and changed the hotel.

The hotel was, in fact, a shabby motel.
