I’m looking for souvenirs from the US for my parents when I will go back to Japan at the begging of September.
I chose and order a bag for my mother online.
There are some reasons I chose it.
First of all, the bag is made by my favorite brand in the US.
The second, she doesn’t have this type of bag as much as I know, although my knowledge about her belongings is little.
Finally, I couldn’t hit upon any other gift ideas.
She is too short for American size clothing.
She doesn’t wear any jewelry.
American foods don’t seem to match to her taste.
I hope she will like it.
I have to find a gift for my father.
It’s more difficult for me.

You can't say 'the second' but you could say 'the second reason'
Remember in English it's fairly rare that you can drop the subject or object of a sentence.
You could have said 'although I have little knowledge about her belongings' but it sounds better to just put an adjective at the end.
