I received a lecture on legal issues of our company from our leagl staff of our parent’s company in Japnan.
First, they explained the difference of law between the US and Japan.
Japanese law is categorized into civil Law like most of Asian and European countries.
American law is categorized into common law like Great Britain and Australia.
In the Civil Law, an agreement is compared to marriage.
The resolution shall be followed by regulations.
The statements on agreement are simple.
On the other hand, in the common law, an agreement is compared to divorce.
The resolution shall be followed by precedents and regulation shall be made by agreement.
Every issue should be stated on the agreement.
I prefer civil law to common law, because it seems to be easy to handle.

Because this is a reason why you prefer one over the other, you should use the comparative 'easier' rather than the descriptive 'easy'
Civil laws are easy because we're citizens! :D
