I took my family to Redondo Beach where is 10 minutes drive away from my home by to ride on a pedal boat.
I had found a half price ticket for riding on it by Groupon and bought it a few months ago.
It was a fine day to enjoy marine sports, not so hot and not windy with beautiful sunny sky.
We enjoyed the small marine adventure on the sea.
My kids were so excited to see sea lions or Pelicans very closely.
Groupon is great.
However, once I buy a product or service at big discounted price, I will not buy the same one at normal price.
What was the purpose of the pedal boat owner’s purpose to issue the Groupon ticket.
Was it a trial of new customer to make them repeater or just getting one time customer?

The only reason they cannot charge cheaper prices for individual customers is that their costs are too high. However, buy selling their product or service to many people at the same time, they can reduce costs to each individual customer.
This is bulk buying***.
Groupon works by asking businesses what sort of price they can give if Groupon guarantees 10/20/30 customers at a time. They then post the offer on their site, and once the required amount of people ask for the offer, Groupon tells the business that they have made a sale for a group of 10/20/30 people.

It was a fine day to enjoy the beach (pier). marine sports, not so It wasn't too hot and not or windy and the with beautiful sunny sky was beautiful.
Pedal boats aren't really called marine sports, so maybe it's better to say you enjoyed the beach or pier. Or better yet (enjoy some outdoor leisure time or activities).
