A Japanese newspaper says that Japanese manufacturing industry for which electronics companies and auto companies represent is loosing competitive power in the global market.
They analyze that in Japanese manufacturing companies, the manufacturing division is the most influent for their marketing in their supply chain.
And they optimize their efficiency within their each division.
On the other hand, the global companies seek for the optimization in their whole supply chain.
In order to be competitive, the manufacturing companies have to generate value for not only their product but also all phases in their supply chain including distribution, promotion, retail and so on.
