My eldest son’s school requested me to keep guard for their event as a volunteer.
However I’m not qualified for that volunteer because I will be positive for tuberculin skin test which diagnoses if I am infected by tuberculosis.
As a large majority of the Japanese in my generation was BCG vaccinated in our childhood in order to prevent tuberculosis from developing, I'm diagnosed as a positive for tuberculin skin test.
It is difficult to distinguish true infection from BCG effect.
To be honest recently I’m so busy for my job, it is a good excuse to decline the volunteer.
