distress of a middle manager

Our parent company in Japan asked me to encourage our staff to more focus on composing some kind of online products.
They want these products to be our next main products.
However the priority of these products is not high among our local staff, because they are not popular for our customers at this moment.
Their concern is current sales. They don't care about long term strategy.
I am annoyed with the coordination between them.
