My office is very cold.
Actually my area of the office is very cold.
I always put on a light wool knit on a shirt.
We can’t control the room temperature at each area individually.
The whole building is air-conditioned by one device.
Because of some mechanical trouble, the device can’t keep the same room temperature in the building.
We can’t adjust it with outside air because the windows of the building can’t be opened.
I feel bad that we can’t get benefit of our living in LA which is one of the most comfortable weather cities in the world.

Actually, my area of the office is very cold.
I always put on a light wool knit shirt.
We can’t control the temperature in each area individually. Or: in each area separately.
The whole building is air-conditioned by one device. Or: The building has centralized air conditioning.
Because of some mechanical trouble, the device can’t keep the same room temperature throughout the building. Or just to be different: Due to mechanical difficulties, it can’t keep an even temperature everywhere in the building.
We can’t adjust it with outside air because the windows of the building can’t be opened. Or just to be different again: We can’t fix it by letting outside air in because the building’s windows can’t be opened.
I feel bad that we can’t get the benefit of living in LA, which is a city that has some of the most comfortable weather in the world. It sounds just a little more natural to my American ears. :-)
I can't imagine the nicer weather than LA.
