the scrutiny about the bikes(自転車について調査)
I had scrutinized about some bikes in the day time.
I saw a lot of specifications and geometrics for comparing if which is better. It was so fun such that. Isn't it..?
At last, I decided one of them, and I ordered it in the evening.
As you know, I was stolen my latest one.
Then, I think, I will go to bed with my new one in my room while at least I have no girl friend....

The scrutiny of the bikes(自転車について調査)
I had scrutinized about some bikes during the day time.
I saw a lot of specifications and geometrics for comparing if which is better.
That kind of thing is so fun.
Isn't it just..? (If we separate out the 'isn't it?' from the main sentence, we'd usually say 'Isn't it just?' for emphasis)
As you know, I had my latest one stolen. (Using the passive to show that something bad happened to you isn't possible in English like it is in Japanese. Please see below)
So, I think I will go to bed with my new one in my room, at least while I have no girlfriend....
About the "suffering passive" (as my books call it):
For the structure 僕は(自分の)自転車を盗まれた there are two different ways to translate it into English depending on the situation:
1) "I had my bike stolen."
or
2) "My bike was stolen."
For 1), if the action is an undesirable action, it means that somebody did it to you when you didn't want them to. If the action is desirable, it means you got somebody else to do the action for you.
For example:
"I had my bike stolen." (bad)
"I had my hair cut." (good)
"He had his glasses broken." (bad)
"He had his cat spayed." (good)
"She had her dress ruined." (bad)
"She had her dress repaired." (good)
For 2), this is just the normal passive, and so it simply means that the action happened to the subject. Most of the time it is neutral, or dependent on context, but if the action requires permission, then it is bad, unless the action can be considered a 'good deed'.
For example:.
"My bike was stolen." (neutral)
"My hair was cut." (bad)
"His glasses were broken." (neutral)
"His cat was spayed." (bad)
"Her dress was ruined." (neutral)
"Her dress was repaired." (good)
good luck
