Not knowing if something is a link or not is starting to really get on my nerves. That, and the context in which some words would be used.

For example:
last time Tonkoh kindly helped me in translating this: Created　作成済み.
And now I find out that its English equivalent (from which I was translating) is used like this:

Created: one hour ago

Thus, I definitely can't use 作成済み.

I'm getting crazy over here! I went through almost every option on the site and tried to pinpoint which phrase is used where. Some I did find, while some still remain a mystery. This is why you WILL be accosted by brackets throughout the text explaining in what context something is used. Please help me translate the myriad of "????" as you read along!
_________________________________

GroupAngle help　　GroupAngleのヘルプページ　(title of the help page text)

Open the browser toolbar.　ブラウザのツールバーを開きます。
Drag the GAt it button to your browser toolbar.　ブラウザのツールバーに「GAt it」ボタンをドラッグしてください。

If you experience problems, consult our Help page or see the "Play 'How do I install GAt it button!'" video .
問題が発生する場合は、ヘルプページを参照するか、「Play 'How do I install GAt it button!'」ビデオをご覧になります。

Recent activity　最近の活動
See what's going on in real time　今何が起こっているかを見て (it's on the home page http://www.groupangle.com/)
All recent activity　すべての最近の活動
Popular collections　人気のあるコレクション

Keep me logged in　ログインしたままにする
Forgot your password?　パスワードを忘れたほうはこちら
Join Group Angle　GroupAngleを参加する

# Header (these two sentences go one after the other and are the header of the site)
Your world organized.　？？？？？
Collect and share the things you like.　好きなものを収集し、共有しましょう。

Signup with Facebook　Facebookでサインアップ/ Facebookで参加　(a link button)
E-mail signup　メールのサインアップ/ メールで参加　(a link button)
Login with Facebook　Facebookでログイン　(a link button)
login with your E-mail　メールでログイン　(it says in the rectangle designed for etering the email address)

notifications　お知らせ
You have no new notifications!　あなたは、新しいお知らせがありません！
See all notifications　すべてのお知らせを見る　(a link button)

Search　検索
Browse　ブラウズ

# Header (falling list)
Install GAt it　「GAt it」をインストール
Create collection　コレクションを作成
Edit profile　プロフィール変更　(Lang-8 says that:)
Invite friends　友人を招待
About　GroupAngleについて
Logout　ログアウト

Add to home page　ホームページに追加　(a link button)
Comment　コメント　(a link button)
Select　選択　(a link button)
To Top　トップへ (as in move this collection to the top of all the other collections)　(a link button)
To Bottom　ボトムへ (as in move this collection to the bottom of all the other collections)　(a link button)

# _errors - common
Go Back　戻る　(a link button – I think)
Oops, something went wrong.　おっと、何かが間違っていました。
View stack trace　スタックトレースを参照してください。 (I don’t know what stack trace is. This is the new site I'm working on: http://www.groupangle.com/

There is a lot of data and especially a lot of command buttons (which don't require verbs at the end - so confusing!) so I tried to find out some of their translations from sites that have both an English and a Japanese translation, and some I did on my own:)

There may be some confusement about what I'm trying to say, but because I got all of this in a Notepad file all ready for programming and just waiting for me to switch English words with Japanese, I myself won't be 100% sure until the translation is running and I can assess the damage:(
----------------------------------

Most of these are single words or commands that you can find on buttons:

Japanese 日本語
Copyright @ 2012 GroupAngle. BIG kisses you guys!!! \(^.^)/

P.S. I've got another site to translate. The amount of information is extremely big but I will be spending almost all of my time at the computer translating it. With luck I will be done in a week if I can keep up this pace. So as not to overwhelm anyone of my willing helpers I'll be posting new translations every day,and maybe even twice a day if I do too much all at once.

k2swis : EXIT festival (day 3) - Revenge? Not quite (0)

You would guess the time was right for fate to give me and my fellow colleagues a little just deserts. I mean, we finally got first shift and shoud have had a chance to have a little down time in the bar. Wrong!

Apparently, last night was some sort of main night here at the festival so even though we worked only until midnight it was a full house. They say there is no rest for the wicked, but from what I gather there is no rest. Period. Busy, busy, busy.

The day began slow. Even though first shift started at 7PM the people only began trickling in at around 8PM. It was easy: a beer or two, water and an odd six pack. It wasn't until Suicidal Tendencies, a hardcore punk band, that the work started picking up real fast. They were loud and intense, and at the end of the performance the lead singer brought up some 15 odd people on the stage with the band. The music started roaring, the guys on stage started jumping and me and my friends watched all this from our own little part of hectic paradise. Example forthcoming:

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nxcJW6bs5os

Plan B was a good change from all that punk and was the last band we listened to before the end of the shift. The changing beats kept us hopping from one foot to the other while shouting orders for more of such and such drinks (especially white wine) and rushing around like headless chickens. Sample here:

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=s8GvLKTsTuI

So basically is wasn't smooth sailing for us in yesterday's first shift. We thought it would be nice for a change to chill out while the previous first-shifters got a taste of our job and bemoan their fate. We didn't get our revenge so our only consolation prize was the fact that we WOULD get to bed way before daybreak if we felt like it.

Milica and I, with the company of our fellow volunteer Milos, went around exploring other stages and other types of music. Some stages were too crowded for their allotted space while others kept us for a time depending on the performers. Towards the end we went to visit the famous Dance Arena that is open and crowded until 8AM every morning. Here is a visual:

http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/198064_159029767489282_6762251_n.jpg

http://i.ytimg.com/vi/dIbkSbVXtFc/0.jpg

http://a4.ec-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/14/c671bdd8012d16555a4c4b7db5af66bd/l.jpg

http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4099/4821122266_ee98067864.jpg

It was a madhouse, and we idiots went through the throng of people from one bar to the next looking for our friends that we knew were working somewhere in there. I got away scot-free while poor Milica got a cigarette burn on the arm from one guy and Milos got a sneaker full of beer. Lucky, lucky me.

The party was over for us at about 3AM. The plan was to go home early and sleep in like all the other normal people on summer break. And I am proud to report that that was mission accomplished and I'm finally fully rested for another night of fun, fun, fun.

_______________________________
FIRST OF ALL, THANK YOU FOR READING MY LITTLE EXIT JOURNAL:)
But, it's impossible that I haven't made a single mistake with my English. Give me some feedback people even if you think my writing sucks!

k2swis : EXIT festival (day 2) - Working in the fast lane (0)

Another day, another second shift. And another early morning return home.

This night wasn't so bad. I guess the 'muscles' we aquired last night really helped us this time around. Everyone knew what the work entailed and how to go about their business. Well, everyone exept me and another girl.

Not 10 minutes into the shift the 'Boss man' came up to me and a girl that was standing to my side and told us to relocate to the back bar with the boys who were pouring draft beer into big cups. We were placed behind the ranks of the girls that worked in the busiest part of the bar. Apparently, the girls on the counter there aren't allowed to pour beer, energy drinks nor vine. That was my domain for the night. Not only was I doing something that I wasn't ready for and been put to work at the busiest part of the bar, but I was also put in charge of providing drinks to not one, not two, but FOUR girls! Not to mention that our shift started at midnight with the performance of the group New Order. Basically, it was jam-packed. And I felt as though I were a newborn puppy tossed into the deep end of a pool.

I got the hang of it after a while. It took me a couple of tries to finally face the fact that when pouring canned beer into a cup you have disregard all other shouted orders and do it slowly and with the cup at an angle unless you want the cup to look like it is filled with one part beer and one part foam - which in that case it most definitely is. With the words of one customer, 'I want beer, not ice cream.'

As to the music, it all went pretty well. But, in my opinion, the first day was way better. I am a person that listens to all kinds of music, but when asked for the group name I don't know 85% of the time. It frequently surprises me when I hear a song I know be sung by an unknown band name, but at the same time it makes me glad that I even know one of their songs. So it came as a surprise when I couldn't recognise even one New Order song. Even with yesterday's performance of Duran Duran, which was as packed as this one, I recongised a couple. But with New Order I had no such luck. Nothing, nada, nicht, niente, bupkis, zilch, zippo.

Next were Netsky and MC Dynamite. Milica was the one who wanted to hear them the most, and because we were working at the Main stage we got the chance to do so. Here's a sample of this goodness:

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YOkrSZoHQXA

They were pretty good and I enjoyed them a lot, but they still couldn't compare to yesterday's Sub Focus. Or the performance of Modestep the day before last - but that's for another story.

MC Dynamite joined with Drumsound and Bassline Smith to give us a very good time. Once again the DJs lept to help us poor volunteers who have been on our feet all through the night.

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ULeapWB1Ij8

The dancing was profound, and due to our new-found 'stamina' it was even more intense than last night. The smiles were all around, and with our smiles the customers were smiling as well. I heard that in other countries such as America the employer teaches its employees how to smile at the customers. It isn't a natural smile but some kind of a stretched professional smile. We don't have it. Our smiles are not fake. We smile if we want to smile, and don't smile if we don't want to. A real smile requires honest emotions, and seeing as we cater to people who can be drunk, high or plain wacky a smile is easy to some by.

Stay tuned for more about my experiences at the EXIT festival:)

k2swis : EXIT festival (day 1) - Welcome to the jungle (0)

'The jungle' is the only way to describe an event such as the EXIT festival. Serbia is once again hoast to a number of singers, music bands and DJs intent on rocking our world.

As for me, this is my first EXIT festival. Yes, I'm an 21-year-old EXIT virgin.

You hear a lot of things about manifestations like these: the boose, the drugs and the sheer stupidity of some of the people frequenting them. What can I say, it's all true up to a point. Every gathering like it knows the same problem. But I'm not here to talk about that. No, I'm here to talk about the MUSIC.

But first things first. How did poor little innocent me end up in a place like this? That is easy - I didn't tell my parents when I signed up to be a volunteer at the festival. OK, it wasn't all that bad. I didn't tell them at first because I didn't know if my application would get through, and then again if my interview was successful. Basically, it was up until three weeks to its beginning that I was in the dark and thus so were they. It REALLY was a surprise for them! There were words, warnings and then encouragements about my decision, but they took it pretty well regardless. It wasn't any help that I applied to work at the bar i.e. the root of all alcoholic evil. How will you deal with the drunkards and junkies? What if there is violence? These were the questions that dogged my every step if not by my parents' words than definitely by their looks and expression. There was comfort in the knowledge that I would be staying at a family friend as opposed to the EXIT village were visitors from out of town - and from out of country - could get a camping space if they don't have lodgings at a house or hotel. And so everything was set for my arrival at Novi Sad.

Everything was a revelation - duh, it was my first time - and I probably went around looking like a wide-eyed little girl at Christmas whose parents took her to the toy store and told her that she could get whatever she wants. Before my shift started at 11PM - yes, I was second shift - me and my new-foud friend Milica went tho see Skindread, who has a great mix of metal, punk and reggae, and The Gossip, with its soul and punk concoction, were a great beginning to my night. You've all probably heard about The Gossip, but probably - if not definitely - about Skindred. Here's a sample (one of my favourites):

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WsQhuxPsSjE

And before the last song the singer asked us to take off our shirts or something else from our body and hold it above our heads. There we were, Milica and I, suddenly in a crowd of bare-chested guys, and even some shirtless girls (BUT with bathing suits underneath)! We both looked at each other and took from our bags our volunteer shirts and raised them surreptitiously in the air. And then the music started playing and we started jumping and waving our shirts round and round singing - or better yet shouting - along. It was ridiculous. It was funny. It was fun. It was AWESOME!

The rest of the night - and some part of the morning - was spent in the bar behind the counter. While we (the girls) were taking orders and giving the drinks to the customers, the guys were pouring beer and handing us whatever was needed. We started our work during rush hour when the most popular bands - and the most visited - were playing. That was the end of The Gossip's performance and the entire 2 hours Duran Duran were on stage. We had a great spot for viewing the show from our vantage point and were near the speekers so we heard everything loud and clear. Next were Sub Focus & MC ID:

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cyE7v7bKZLA

They were FANTASTIC! I'll definitely be following their careers! At the time when our energy was wavering they were the best cure. We were dancing and singing and working and basically having a good time. MistaJam was last in the lineup and was the only thing keeping us on our feet when morning broke. Everything was over at about 6 AM but we wrapped up at something close to 6.45 AM and went our separate ways along with the last of the festival visitors. I went by bus but the last leg of the journey was on foot. I am the first one to admit that it wasn't graceful. Even more, I walked like an old lady - all weak in the knees and slow. But, I somehow managed to go home, and after a quick face-wash I was comatose as soon as my head hit the pillow.

As I am writing this the clock tells me that I have 45 more minutes until I leave for the festival. Milica and I are going a little earlier to see some other stages before work. Stand by for more about my time at the EXIT festival after my loooong sleep tomorrow:)

k2swis : Conclusions on conclusions (0)

I wrote this on my livejournal account some while ago, but had to share it with you all:)
_____________________________

WARNING! The people that are mentioned below are barely of age if they are of age at all. The following text may contain certain things that the reader is opposed to as well as descriptions meant for entertainment purposes. Do not proceed unless you are perfectly fine with the aforementioned stipulations. Consider yourself properly warned...

For all of you who are expecting some heavy-duty BDSM, get your heads out of the gutter! Shame on you! And further more; if I wanted to post some steamy adult fiction, I certainly wouldn't have posted it on my livejournal account - my mother knows of it and is perfectly capable of using Google Translate! So without further ado, this is how the story goes:

Last week, a few days after her return from the show, my little sister had her first day in her new high school, and let me tell you this; I have never seen such a bundle of nerves in my life. I don't remember exactly how many times she asked me how she should introduce herself, but a double-digit number is definitely involved. My mom had told me to wait for her until her classes concluded and then go with her back to Pančevo so as she could learn the route. And in that hour that took us to get to our home she revealed the mystery that were her new classmates.

The description she presented me was an interesting one and I lapped it all up, hungry as I was for information on the subject. My mind created cliques and automatically singled out certain individuals that I found interesting. My memory of this conversation is a week old and there probably are a lot of mistakes regarding the validity of these claims all of them originating from the fact that I made conclusions regarding Jelena's conclusions that may or may not have been true in the first place, but that she made none the less from what she had seen and/or heard that day. Names will not be brought up not only because it wouldn't be nice for the person or persons that may be insulted by my findings, but also because I don't know any of them.

Let's start with the boys, shall we?

First we have the silent intellectual. Apparently, Jelena had only seen him during her first class after which he made an disappearing act and made himself scarce. She didn't even register him until he made himself known by making some conclusion or statement that seemed in his opinion quite obvious and for the rest of the puny mortals really, really smart. After class Jelena, intrigued as she was, wanted to introduce herself to the boy, but unfortunately Elvis had left the building.

The next one I dubbed King Bee as opposed to Queen Bee. I imagine him as a charmer, presumably one that has a good taste in clothing, and can make most girls go all aflutter by the single fact of him talking to them. I realize that the description is probably too far-fetched, but that's what you get when a young impressionable teen, i.e. me at the age of 16, gets her hands on American teen books/movies/dramas.

Behind door number three we have Mr. Romance. It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single woman - read; girl - has at some point of her life dreamed of a man - read; boy - who would play for her on a guitar. Cheesy I know, but true non the less. Not only does this one have a guitar and knows how to use it, he is apparently really smart and good with numbers. The word geek may be used to describe him, but, hey, geeks nowadays are billionaires!

The Joker (not to be confused with Batman's Joker, because that one is just creepy) is next on the list. There is always at least one clown in a class that keeps the good mood flowing and can make you laugh when you are feeling down. From what I've heard from my sister, the jokes and jabs are not vicious in nature but are in fact, dare I call them, 'intelligent'. That is a good change from the usual idiotisms found too easily in high school classrooms.

A foreign student is always a breath of fresh air that can give you a new perspective on quite an assortment of things, but that is all in vain if said person doesn't know neither your language nor English, which is in itself an achievement in this day and age. From what I've heard, he knows only three things: 'Good day', 'Goodbye' and 'You are boring'. I tripped when Jelena told me about it.

You would expect a person with dreadlocks to dress the part, even though I don't know exactly what the usual dress code is, but apparently this guy looks 'normal'. Do not ask me about the definition of 'normal' because there aren't enough hours in a day for me to answer the question. It would be interesting to see a redhead with dreadlocks opposed to the usual blonde or honey-coloured ones we see most of the time. I wonder what his mother thinks of his look?

Aside from the six boys I've already mentioned, there are approximately thirty girls in her class as well. Sadly Jelena didn't have time to get to know them all very well, so these I am about to describe are the ones that caught her eye.

There is one girl that bears mentioning first. This girl is apparently the only one that knew about Jelena and the show she starred in, and was thus dubbed as Fan Girl. After Jelena's self-introduction in front of the class and the subsequent mentioning of the show (the prime reason she started school two weeks late), this girl was the one that asked and then at the same time answered most of the questions as she was an avid fan of the show. I wonder if she has a star crush?

Someone should probably tell these next girls that if they want to keep having good grades, they should probably avoid picking the teachers' eyes out. I was never the one who flaunted my preparedness in front of a teacher and instead showed it via my grades. FYI, I do want to point out the fact that I have never cheated of a friend's test and will never do so in the future. These four ladies are seated in the first row, right smack in front of the teacher and are, in my humble opinion, endangering his well-being. I do hope the teachers have good medical coverage.

And now we move on to the next person of interest: the Realist. This girl was the one who described to Jelena the school, the professors and the students when they were sitting out gym class. The girl - I know her name but I promised not to mention it in the text - evidently mentioned the faults and virtues of everyone and thus tried to make complete pictures of the people around them. Just to make things clear: these pictures I made of the people from Jelena's class are not realist paintings but caricatures meant to be somewhat satirical and put into a box with a certain label, even though people are too complicated to be compared to labels.

Only one of these girls met Jelena before her (Jelena’s) entry into the class. She was and still is for all I know a tennis player. They met at a tennis match hosted in Pančevo when Jelena was volunteering at the event. Their subsequent meeting at the new school was an unexpected and yet pleasant surprise. I don’t have any more information on the girl, but I am made aware of that the two, she and Jelena, are sitting side by side in classes.

The group of girls we clearly can’t get rid of is definitely the one in which the girls can’t put down their lipstick/lip-gloss/pocket mirror for the duration of the class, and are always fixing something that didn’t even get the chance to get ‘damaged’. I’ve had a bad experience in high school with this kind of girls. Let’s just say that they blamed me for their bad mark – read; four – on my unwillingness to help them completely during a test, disregarding the fact that I had a test to complete as well. My answer to that: screw you! Words were exchanged, insults were flung and the river ran red with the blood of our metaphorical battle wounds. I am willing to let you cheat off me, but don’t you dare insult me because without me you would only get a big fat zero instead of the positive mark you so undeservedly received.

This girl is the epitome of the two parts of the same coin. When you look at her, what do you see? You see a petite girl with the body of a ballerina, all grace and good breeding, but when she goes out on the court to play e.g. volleyball, she turns into an athletic monster that runs hither and yon to catch the ball. It’s like Peter Parker and Spider-Man, but without the radioactive spider bite.

My favourite group is definitely the one with the monster-crazed girls. They are like family to me. I hope they like more than just vampires, because there is a whole world of creepy-crawlies waiting to be discovered. Books (audiobooks included) and movies are my favourite pastime and an integral part of my life.

Thus we come to the end of this particular entry. It’s evening here in Arilje and it has just crossed my mind that I have been writing about the girl part of the text for the better part of four hours. So let’s leave the lengthy conclusions for another time and call it quits.

P.S. Please read the WARNING! at the beginning of the entry carefully before continuing on.

P.P.S. Despite your thinking that there is some sexual innuendo in the WARNING!, there is none of it in its wording and in the subsequent text. That’s just me taking a few numbers off your IQ.
