I finished reading " The Old Man and The Sea " in English without a dictionary. It was my first time to read a Hemingway's novel. Actually, I haven't read his work even in Japanese, but I like it. I prefer reading kind of masculine stories rather than reading feminine stories. However, when I read books in English, I tend to choose feminine stories because it is easier for me to follow.
The story was quite inspiring. I learned that even if we were in a very tough situation, if we didn't give up in the midway, we could get our wishes. Since I was inspired by the story, I am planning to watch the same movie in English without any subtitles. I guess that I will be able to understand it well.
