Yesterday I watched "How To Train Your Dragon" in English without any subtitles. Today after I will take my online conversational lesson, I am planning to watch it with Japanese dubbing again because I would love to make sure how much degree I could understand it.

The day before yesterday, I chatted with one of my American friend. I have been chatting with him every single Sunday for one year. At that time, we discussed "Precious" in English. As I already posted about it on lang-8, I watched it in English without subtitles. However, it was slightly difficult for me to keep up with the conversations in the movie because main African-American characters speak English with lots of swear words. So, I would love to make sure how much degree I could understand the movie by my American friend. After I listened to his summary, I felt like very happy because I quite understood the movie even if the conversation was belong to African-American people.

So, I am very curious about my this time listening comprehension skills right now. Compared to "Precious", "How To Train You Dragon" was much easier for me to follow. However, it is still difficult for me to keep up with the characters' names. There were a bunch of characters in the movies. So, I could understand only few people's name in English. However, I extremely could enjoy the movie in English. Since I realized that the movie is from a novel, I really would love to read the novel in English.
