Yesterday I chatted with my American friend over Skype. It was my first time to chat with her in a year. I still have trouble with girls spoken English because of lack of experience to chat with girls.
Her spoken English sounds a southern accent.

I have a close American friend who speaks with a southern accent. However, his spoken English sounds the Texan accent, and it's different from hers. She is from South Carolina. Therefore, it was difficult for me to understand some parts of her conversations.

After I chatted with her, I realized that it has become much easier for me to chat with my Texan friend. Right now I can understand what he said most of the parts. That's because I've been listening to his conversations almost every day for 8 months.

I can tell you that if you want to come on your comprehension skills, I think that you don't need to do specific exertion. I'm sure that all you need to do is to do same things every day over and over again. I really think that keep going is the most important.

I already know that although right now I'm not able to keep up with her conversations occasionally, if I kept listening to her conversations everyday, I could understand what she says almost perfectly. Therefore, I really would love to chat with her as much as possible to her.
